My name is Karla Southworth and I’m the owner of Inspirations Therapeutic Massage, LLC. Therapeutic Massage is my third career, following undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. I spent a number of years as a real estate loan closer and 14 years in the in-house medical recruitment/locum tenens field. While working full time, I attended a 600-hour Therapeutic Massage program at Lake Superior College of Duluth, MN, graduating in May, 2008. Initially, I pursued massage part-time as an independent contractor at Comfort Zone Therapeutic Massage and in October, 2014, I established my current practice. Over the years, I've completed a number of advanced courses. Your session might include the integration of techniques from Swedish, deep tissue and myofascial work, depending on your needs. ​Most recently, I’ve been so very fortunate to participate in specialized training and advanced coursework in oncology massage. I am inspired to serve people with cancer or cancer histories, including those going through treatment or in the midst of diagnosis.
