Sophia Bonner Sturm, LMT Sophia graduated from Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, WV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies. She then moved to London, England to study Nutritional Therapy. While there, she stumbled upon her love and passion for Massage Therapy. She enrolled in a course in London, and after its completion, she decided to return home. She moved back to Baltimore and attended the Holistic Massage Training Institute. In 2011, she was honored with her Maryland State license. Throughout her time as a massage therapist, she has collaborated with Physical Therapists to generate her own style as well as learning from different day-spas about timing and attention to details. She has supported clients through chronic conditions such pain, headaches as well as cancer. She has knowledge of various massage techniques and is constantly expanding her knowledge by attending training courses and seminars. Currently, she is licensed in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport Massage, Trigger Point Release, Prenatal, Hot Stone and Oncology. In her free time, she enjoys being a mom to her three children.
