I am a movement and manual therapist with a special interest in serving people living with cancer. Oncology Massage is my therapeutic touch therapy for body, mind and heart. My goal is to provide a safe, therapeutic and customized massage. I make modifications to meet the unique and changing needs of someone in active cancer treatment or recovering from cancer. Some of the clinical considerations I will assess and modify for include: contraindications, pressure, site, position, compromised lymphatics (due to lymph node removal), medical devices, site of tumor, bone integrity, blood cell counts, bone metastases, vital organ involvement, and neuropathy. Oncology Massage can help ease pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, sleep disruptions, and isolation through human connection and therapeutic touch. I'm also a Personal Trainer, Cancer Exercise Trainer (ACSM) and Post-Rehabilitative Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist (Pink Ribbon), and Stretching and Flexibility Specialist. The combination of these modalities allows me to help you restore flexibility, range of motion, strength, and healthy soft tissue. I am a native Spanish speaker. I enjoy weight training, roller skating, hiking and dancing for fitness. I look forward to helping you feel and move better!
