My name is Aimee Frisk and I founded Twin Peaks Therapy after supporting several women through various stages of their breast cancer journeys. While working in a hospital setting, I was approached by a few post-mastectomy clients seeking help with their recovery. I realized this would require a more specialized and delicate treatment, so I searched for practitioners I could learn from and found that there were none anywhere near me. My research led me to stumble upon an amazing Occupational Therapist – a true pioneer in the field – from Australia. I studied with her and soaked up all the information I could to be able to help these women in need. Inspired, I spent the next four years passionately furthering my education and training. I hold certifications in both Massage and Lymphatic Therapy along with significant education and expertise in scar tissue management. Throughout this time, I realized I could be of service to so many others going through the breast cancer journey, reducing stress, anxiety, and nausea, while also helping to improve range of motion, lymphatic system challenges, and general wellbeing. I love getting lost in a good book and like long walks on the beach with my husband, two children and our dog named Kevin.
