Qualifications: 

    1. Successful completion of Oncology Massage Therapy Level I or permission from the instructor
    2. Current California State or NCBTMB certification
    3. Proof of liability insurance
    4. Active massage therapy practice for a minimum of the last 12 months or the approval of the instructor
    5. This is a hospital based foundational course; proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required

Course (Live; In person): 24-CE hrs. – Saturday, February 8, 2025 – Monday, February 10, 2025

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
