Seminars for Health: Fundamentals of Oncology Massage Level 1 & Oncology Soft Tissue Manipulation Level 2; (31 hrs) – In-Person – Alberta, Canada

 

Qualifications: 

1. 1. This course is open to those who hold a license to touch/bodywork
   2. This foundational training is made up of two separate courses, Fundamentals of Oncology Massage Level 1 and Oncology Soft Tissue Manipulation Level 2
   3. Level 1 is a prerequisite to Level 2.

 

Format:

* Please note, this is a bundled foundational training made up of two separate courses. You will need to register for both courses.  Level 1 and Level 2 are both are In person courses. 

1. 1.  Fundamentals of Oncology Massage Level 1 Course (In person): 7-CE hrs. – Wednesday, March 13, 2024
   2.  Oncology Soft Tissue Manipulation Level 2 Course (In person): 24-CE hrs. – Thursday, March 14 – Saturday, March 16, 2024. The prerequisite for Level 2 is the successful completion of Level 1.

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
