Phoenix College: Foundational Course (26.6 hrs) – Virtual & In person – Phoenix, AZ

1. 1. Virtual and online components must be complete prior to start of in-person component of this course

 

Format:

* Please note, this foundational training is made up of three components. It has a Virtual & online component followed by an in-person component

Foundational Course – 26.6CE hrs.

1. 1. 1. Online Component: 13.3 CE hrs.
         1. Virtual Session: Thursday, October 31, 2024, 6:30-7:30 AZ time
         2. Online Component: Online modules must be to be completed between 10/30 and 12/6– required before attending the in-person session. Self-paced meeting with published due dates
      2. In-person Component: 13.3 CE hrs. – Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2024 (9AM-4PM)

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
