- This foundational training is made up of two separate courses, Modules 1 & 2
- Module 1 is a prerequisite to Module 2.
Format:
* Please note, this is a bundled foundational training made up of two separate classes. You will need to register for both. Module 1 and Module 2 are both virtual courses. You will need access to the internet, plus an iPhone or similar smartphone for filming and sending your practical sessions. If you are in a different time zone to Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) please mention this when you make contact with our administrator; we are often able to offer a choice of meeting times.

- Oncology Massage Module 1 (Virtual): 30-CE hrs. – Monday, January 8 – Monday, March 4, 2024; 8-week course
- Module 1 is completed within 8 weeks at a pace that is comfortable for you. It is comprised of four (4) units. Each unit includes a practical element that will be completed in a 2-week period. This virtual class will meet weekly to review the content before proceeding to the next section of the unit.
- Oncology Massage Module 2 (Virtual): 30-CE hrs. – Monday, March 3- Monday, April 29, 2024
- Oncology Massage Module 1 (Virtual): 30-CE hrs. – Monday, January 8 – Monday, March 4, 2024; 8-week course
The prerequisite for Module 2 is the successful completion of all assessments for Module 1.
Module 2 is completed within 8 weeks. It is broken up into four (4) practical units, each to be completed within a 2-week period, the final is a practical assessment. This virtual class will meet weekly to review the content before proceeding to the next section of the unit.

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
