Medicine Hands: Massage for People Living with Cancer; (30 hrs) – Online & Live; In person – Oregon, USA

 

Qualifications: 

1. 1. Current massage therapy license/registration/certification
   2. Prerequisite online component must be complete prior to start of Live; In person Course

 

Format:

* Please note, this foundational training is made up of two components. It has a prerequisite Online component followed by an In person component

1. 1. Medicine Hands: Massage for People Living with Cancer (Online & In person): 30 CE hrs.

1. 1. 1. Online Component: 6 CE hrs. – Home Study: material shared 4-weeks before class start date
      2. In person Component: 24-CE hrs.

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
