Qualifications: 

1. 1. This course is open to licensed massage therapists, estheticians, RN’s, and Nurse Aides
   2. Prerequisite (see below) must be complete prior to start of Live; Virtual Course.

 

Format:

* Please note, this foundational training is made up of two components. It has a prerequisite Online component followed by a Virtual component

Oncology Massage (32 hrs)

1. 1. 1. Online Component: 8-CE hrs. – Home Study – material shared 6-weeks before class start date
      2. Virtual Component: 24-CE hrs. – Wednesday April 17-Thursday April 18 AND Wednesday April 24-Thursday April 25, 2024

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
