Corewell Health (formerly Beaumont Health): Introduction to Oncology Massage; (24 hrs) – In-Person – Michigan, USA

 

Qualifications: 

 

1. 1. Students are required to be a graduate of a minimum 500-hr massage therapy program and provide a copy of their state license
   2. Registration deadline: Thursday, February 22, 2024
   3. 24-hour: Introduction to Oncology Massage class is a pre-requisite for the optional Three-Day Clinical Rotation (exceptions apply)
   4. Students must complete a health screening and human resource background check prior to participating in the clinical rotation

Introduction to Oncology Massage (In person): 24 CE hrs. – Friday, March 1– Sunday, March 3, 2024

The intention of the Education Standards for S4OM Foundational Courses is to provide an outline of the required elements of a S4OM recognized Foundational Course. A Foundational Course is meant to teach massage therapists the basics of providing massage therapy in a safe, ethical, and appropriate manner for those diagnosed with cancer.
