Holding national certification through the Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, active membership with the American Massage Therapy Association, and former membership with the Florida State Massage Therapy Association, I have been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida since graduating from Alpha Institute in 2000. In 2013 I obtained additional licensure to also practice massage therapy in the state of New Mexico where I now reside. A proud supporter of S4OM, I became a preferred provider with this organization in 2014 and attended their S4OM 2014 National Visioning Conference in Sarasota, FL. While I am experienced in a variety of therapeutic neuromuscular massage modalities from the basics of Swedish Relaxation and some Ayurvedics to Hot Stone,Reflexology, Deep Tissue and more rigorous Sports Massage, I have taken specialized clinical training to best serve the sensitive needs of cancer patients. I am committed to providing safe and caring massage for those who are currently undergoing or post oncology treatment, lending a supportive role that often applies to the needs of their caregivers too. My diversity comes from many years of honing my skills throughout Palm Beach county Florida in luxury spa, domiciliary and chiropractic settings including being the sole massage therapist for five of South Florida Radiation Oncology's cancer treatment centers simultaneously. I've also provided massage at local promotional and charitable events such as the Miami Dolphins Cycling Challenge in association with cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2016 I went on to complete continuing education with Klose Training at Santa Fe School of Massage, becoming certified in the Vodder technique as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. While currently based in the spa at Sunrise Springs Wellness Resort in Santa Fe, I was recruited to join the team of oncology massage therapists in the chemo/infusion room at Christus St.Vincent Regional Cancer Center and, gladly heeding that call, am also now working with oncology patients there as of January 2017.
*SOME OF MY CLIENTS GRACIOUSLY SHARE THEIR SESSION EXPERIENCES*:
"My wife is going through the full cycle of Chemo and radiation for Breast Cancer. She has experienced all the side effects that are known for this treatment.Miss McGrath was recommended by an oncology nurse we know to help my wife through this. Michelle came to our home and explained clearly the benefits of a therapeutic massage and the expected results. She created a very relaxing atmosphere and gave both my wife and I a great therapeutic massage experience. We found her to be knowledgable in her field and very professional. She is quite welcome in our home and we will call on her much more in the future."

"I am currently undergoing radiation treatments for breast cancer. Michelle was recommended by my Radiation Oncologist and his staff, and as it turns out, does in-home service. So my husband and I made an appointment for each of us. Michelle was very professional from the moment she came to our home, while she explained the process and set up her equipment which was clean and flawless. After filling out some important forms, she massaged me first, then my husband. Michelle made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. The music she played made me relax even more. I truly enjoyed my massage and look forward to my next appointment. Michelle is a true professional, that provides excellent service at a reasonable price."

I am now in full remission after a bout with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) last fall. After chemotherapy I received 20 radiations and at that time I was also treated during several sessions for therapeutic massage by Ms. Michelle McGrath. I found those treatments to be very comforting for some of the remaining pains and they were a welcome addition to the radiations. Ms. McGrath's therapeutic massages have been especially helpful and soothing for the recovery of the symptoms that followed the treatments for my NHL.My wife Ana and I have been under the therapeutic massage care of Ms Michelle McGrath for more than six months. We are both extremely satisfied with her care and hope to continue it. She is a consummate professional in what she does and we look forward to our sessions with her. It is a pleasure dealing with Ms McGrath. Her professional and personal conducts speak highly of her and, as I said earlier, we look forward to our sessions with her, which have indeed been therapeutic.
